Carlin Automation was established February 1977 in Rock Island, IL as a manufacturer’s representative. Western/Central Illinois, Iowa, and Eastern Nebraska were originally covered out of Rock Island. In 1990, we expanded eastward and opened a second office in the Chicago area.

Carlin Automation is oriented towards sales and service of products that address industrial temperature applications. Major markets we serve include:

• Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)

We set ourselves apart from other sales organizations by being knowledgeable about the products we sell and the processes we are addressing. Carlin Automation provides customers with Application Engineering assistance, start-up help, and product training. In addition, our instrument service department is ISO Guide 1702S accredited with a thermal scope. We provide bench repair/calibration, system accuracy and temperature uniformity survey services.

In addition, Carlin Automation has an ISO Guide 17025 accredited service department. We are proficient in bench calibration, system accuracy and temperature uniformity survey work.
